Can I rent or reserve a pavilion in one of the parks?
The pavilions in the parks are for use on a first come first serve basis and there is no rental/reservation required. If you are having an event or outing and want to use a pavilion, plan to be the first one at that particular pavilion.
How can I find out what programs and activities are being offered?
A quarterly Activities Guide is available with information about on programs, locations, dates and times, etc.
How do I register for these activities?
Right now you may register by phone, in person, or by fax, by mail, or online at www.cityofjackson.net/recreation Call the Registration office at 425-8382 for more information or look for Registration on the Quick Links page.
Are your programs open to residents and non-residents?
Yes, but there is an extra fee for non-residents.
Why do sports have different age cut off dates?
Most sports are regulated by state organizations that set the age criteria for sports.
Are there public pools? When do they open and close?
Yes there are public pools at T. R. White Sportsplex and Westwood Recreation Center. The pools normally open on Memorial Day and close shortly before schools return to session.
